Disney XD will launch Marvel Universe, a dedicated Marvel programming block, with the new series "Ultimate Spider-Man" as its centerpiece, on SUNDAY, APRIL 1, it was announced by Gary Marsh, President and Chief Creative Officer, Disney Channels Worldwide at the Television Critics Association Press Tour in Pasadena, California.

Powered by its biggest yearly ratings ever, Disney XD will premiere more original content with "Lab Rats," a comedy series about a teenager and his newfound "siblings," a trio of super-human teens, who together must navigate typical high school and -- not so typical -- bionic glitches. The series will join Disney XD's popular "Monday Mayhem" comedy block with a special one-hour episode on MONDAY, FEBRUARY 27 (8:30-9:30 p.m., ET/PT) hosted by the cast.
