Hutchings "Hutch" Royal Dano plays a charismatic, confident and driven 15-year-old who, along with his best friend Luther, will stop at nothing to become the best skateboarder the world has ever known.

Dano began acting in commercials at age five and has starred in several theater productions, including "The Wizard of Oz," "Peter Pan," "Aladdin" and "Joseph and the Technicolor Dream Coat." His other television credits include a guest appearance on Disney Channel's "The Suite Life on Deck."

Dano will star opposite Selena Gomez in the upcoming feature film "Ramona and Beezus" as Henry Huggins, a longtime classmate of Beezus who develops a crush on him.

Dano comes from a long line of actors who include his father, Rick, maternal grandmother, Virginia Bruce, and grandfather, Royal Dano. Bruce was a film actress in the '30s and '40s and was one of the original Goldwyn Girls, along with Betty Grable and Lucille Ball. Royal Dano, a well-known film and television character actor, was the voice of Abraham Lincoln for Walt Disney's "Greatest Moments with Mr. Lincoln," which premiered at the World's Fair in 1964. He continued to lend his voice as the former President when the program moved to Disneyland and in the "Hall of Presidents" at Disney World.

Born May 21, 1992, in Santa Monica, California, Dano enjoys studying classic films with his grandmother, swimming, surfing and skiing. His favorite actors are Marlon Brando and his grandfather.
