Yin Yang Yo!

Set in a world of legend and lore, the dynamic action/adventure/comedy series "Yin Yang Yo!" follows the antics of a brother and sister – cute, hyper-kinetic tween rabbits – who must temporarily put aside their sibling rivalry when faced with evil yet idiotic creatures who are intent on destroying the world. To defeat the villains, Yin and Yang train in the mystical martial art of Woo Foo, under the guidance of the only remaining Woo Foo teacher on earth, Master Yo, an irritable old panda forced out of retirement to restore the lost art – if only his two heroes can learn to get along.

Currently in its 2nd season, "Ying Yang Yo!," geared towards kids 6-11, is a cleverly written comedy series with visually engaging anime produced utilizing Flash animation software. Jetix is a joint kids programming alliance around the world that features original, acquired and library action/adventure/comedy series including the phenomenally popular "Power Rangers." Jetix programming reaches a combined 270 million television households in 80 countries and 25 languages.

Bob Boyle ("The Fairly Odd Parents") is executive producer and supervising director of "Yin Yang Yo!" Comedian and animation veteran Steve Marmel ("Sonny with a Chance" and "The Fairly Odd Parents") is executive producer. Mark Ackland ("Gruesomestein's Monsters") is director and Bart Jennett ("Recess") is producer.

Woo Foo is a unique energy force only a select group of warriors can control. It can be used in one of two ways – Magic or Might. For the first time a brother and sister have been paired as Woo Foo Warriors. Master Yo hopes their sibling bond – as frayed as it is sometimes – will be their advantage even if they're in way over their heads. Yin and Yang channel the powers of their Woo Foo martial artistry into a tempest of punches and punch lines.

Yin is funny, opinionated, powerful, and stubbornly argumentative with her brother. She is focused on the Magic of Woo Foo, with the ability to transform matter with a "transfoomation" spell, or ignite things via "Yincineration." Yin is also extremely altruistic… wanting to save the world not just from the villains, but from itself… which sometimes gets her in more trouble than she knows how to handle.

Yang is also funny, but in a sharp, rapid-fire, boy-centric way. He's sarcastic, impatient, highly competitive with his sister and great at martial arts. He loves to kick bad guy butt and ask questions later, which will invariably get him (and Yin) in way over their heads. His "Might" – his weapon of choice – is a bamboo sword which can transform into a boomerang called "the Yang-A-Rang," or occasionally, with great effort, ignite with Woo Foo energy to make it glow with power.

Individually, Yin and Yang are a force to be reckoned with but together – Magic and Might – they're much more powerful.

Their wish yet crabby mentor, Master Yo, hopes the bond of brother and sister can make Yin and Yang stronger still. Under his tutelage, they learn the Woo Foo skills they need to save the world from Carl, the Evil Cockroach Wizard, his brother Herman, the tyrannical warrior (bantam weight division) and the Dark Overlord, the Night Master and the new Villain Eradicus.

Master Yo is as powerful as he is lazy. He's Magic and Might all rolled into a perpetually annoyed Panda, particularly since his life was meant to have played out differently. He was supposed to defeat his one-time arch-enemy, return to his town a hero and live a life of easy retirement that is usually bestowed upon people who save the world. What he didn't expect is that he'd called upon to rebuild Woo Foo from scratch and guide a pair of loud, squabbling kids who, more times than not, are more interested in giving him grief than they are in learning.

The voice cast is: Stephanie Morgenstern ("Riding The Bus With My Sister") as Yin/Chung Pow Kitties; Scott McCord ("Care Bears: Big Wish Movie") as Yang/Yuck; Martin Roach ("Rescue Heroes") as Yo; Jamie Watson ("Get Ed") as Carl/Zarnot; David Hemblen ("La Femme Nikita") as Night Master; Tony Daniels ("Sailor Moon") as Ultimoose/Kraggler; Linda Ballantyne ("Sailor Moon") as Saranoia and Jonathan Wilson ("Totally Spies!") as Dave/Coop.

The series is produced by Jetix Animation Concepts and Walt Disney Television Animation.
