"Mason"

Geno Segers stars as Mason, the intimidating guard and superstitious Royal Advisor whose main priority above protecting the kings is protecting his daughter Mikayla, in Disney XD's Emmy-nominated comedy series "Pair of Kings."

Segers was also the host of "Fort Boyard – Ultimate Challenge," a reality adventure series that premiered in Fall 2011 on Disney XD. His television credits also include a guest role on Disney XD's "Zeke and Luther."

Born in Winston Salem, North Carolina, Segers always thought he would have a career in sports. At 6'4" and 260 pounds, Segers, an avid football player, wrestler, and track athlete, was an All American Division One Linebacker in College at Western Carolina University. After one season of minor league football, Segers went on to play Rugby for the American National Rugby League and New Zealand Richmond Rovers. Later, he returned to wrestling and became the New Zealand National Champ in his weight class.

On a dare from a friend, Segers went on an audition and landed a role in the Lion King production in Sydney, Australia. Shortly thereafter, he earned the lead role of Mufasa for the Melbourne season. Segers later preformed as Mufasa in the China production and joined a North American touring cast where he performed to crowds in Austin, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Denver, Honolulu, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Milwaukee, Omaha, and St. Louis.

He currently resides in Los Angeles.
